Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed School Psychologist to support students across multiple schools in Thomasville, North Carolina. This full-time, itinerant position focuses on promoting student academic, social, and emotional success through assessment, consultation, and evidence-based interventions.
Position Overview:
Under this role, you will:

Collaborate with district and school leadership to implement MTSS and ensure high-quality, targeted instruction

Conduct universal screenings, progress monitoring, and data-based decision-making
-
Consult with staff, families, and community agencies regarding student cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral performance
-
Support Exceptional Children staff with referrals, reevaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)

Administer assessments to identify student strengths, needs, and suspected disabilities
-
Develop comprehensive psychoeducational reports to guide instruction and programming

Assist with crisis interventions including suicide screenings and threat assessments

Provide professional development to staff and participate in ongoing professional learning
Qualifications:

Valid NC School Psychologist certification (026)

Working knowledge of ECATS

Familiarity with the NASP Model for Comprehensive and Integrated School Psychological Services and NC Professional School Psychology Standards

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
